Fantail New Zealand
This unique vinyl record art shows the outline of the North and South Islands of New Zealand, with the silhouette of the native Fantail sitting on a Koru fern. The spiral of the Koru is important to New Zealand and the indigenous Maori, representing creation, strength and the life journey. Also a common character within Maori mythology, the Fantail is sometimes called the “piwakawaka”. The Fantail is known for its friendly demeanor and long, distinctive tail, which opens into an elegant fan.
Every piece is unique and combines my artwork with your decor and musical memories. Made using record labels saved from the landfill and local op shops ~ or send me your tired, old, records for really meaningful art.
